Packaging, transport, warehousing and energy records were split across one central warehouse and three county-level warehouses. nexLCA connected packaging, logistics and warehousing into one platform so the team could monitor emissions by site, material and activity.
The challenge
A central warehouse and distributed operating sites held separate packaging, transport, warehousing and energy records. Periodic consolidation could produce a result, but it could not reliably explain how impacts were allocated to materials, activities and time periods.
The nexLCA solution
The project connected continuously collected operating data to material, warehouse, transport and energy objects. Accountable users then confirmed allocation rules, periods and applicability. Business systems retained their source records; the environmental data platform retained mappings, calculation context and versions.

Business value
The shared model exposes contributions by site, material and activity so teams can locate the main impacts across packaging, logistics and warehousing. As operating data continues to flow into the platform, teams can compare periods and sites and use the result in operational improvement.
